VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING NOTICE

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2019 at 7:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, December 12, 2019 a meeting of the VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Village of Manley, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Village Community Center, 115 Cherry Street, Manley, NE.  The agenda for such meeting, which is kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk in the Village Community Center during normal business hours.

If you have a concern that you wish addressed, contact the Village Clerk (402-234-2304) no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Minutes of the Planning Commission Public Hearing October 8, 2019

Chairperson Heath Lindsey opened the meeting at 7:00p.m. in the Upper Level of the Manley Community Center with members, Richard Fox, Jodi Tapp, Zoning Administrator, Betty Meyer present. Commissioners, Hope Hibler and Leonard Stohlmann were absent. Four members of the Manley Village Board were also present.

Heath opened the Public Hearing and relinquished the floor to Marty Myers and his wife Jennifer, from Louisville, to explain details of a development project for an open RV Camper storage area that they are considering along the Highway #50 and Highway #1 corridor. This area lies within the one-mile jurisdiction of the Village of Manley and is designated as a Redevelopment Area in the Village of Manley Comprehensive Plan.

This meeting was only for information purposes and open for questions and suggestions. After open discussions, the Commissioners at this time, could see no reason to deny this project.

No further actions were taken, and the Myers’ were advised that if they wish to proceed with this project it will be necessary for them to provide an official Preliminary Plat to the Planning Commission for their approval and have approval from the Manley Village Board.

Heath Lindsey closed the Public Hearing and adjourned the meeting at approximately 7:30p.m.

A copy of these proceedings is readily available for inspection at the Office of the Manley Zoning Administrator.
